It provides a structured way to record, track, and manage all business expenses — ensuring that each payment made to employees, clients, or vendors is properly documented, categorized, and linked to your financial accounts.
Whether it’s operational costs, reimbursements, or project-related expenses, this feature enables you to maintain an accurate record of where your money is going, while supporting efficient financial control and reporting.
✅ How to access Expense & Payment
Jazalla’s Expense and Payment module is part of the Accounting Management system, making it easy to manage all business expenses and outgoing transactions from one place. Follow these steps to get started:

Log In: Sign in to your Jazalla account using your credentials on the Jazalla platform.

Navigate to Accounting Management: From the left sidebar menu, click on Accounting Management.

Select Expense & Payment: Within the Accounting management, locate and click on expense & payment. This will take you to the dedicated page where all available options are displayed.


✅ Key Sections
🧾Expense & payment List: The Expense List View offers a complete overview of all recorded expenses in a single, organized table. This allows finance teams to easily review, update, and manage expense records.

Listing Display: The Chart of Accounts List View presents all accounts in an easy-to-navigate table with the following details:

Expense ID – Unique identifier for each expense record.

Category – The classification of the expense (e.g., Travel, Office Supplies, Utilities, etc.).

Amount – Total value of the recorded expense.

Expense Date – The date when the expense occurred.
-
Status – Indicates whether the expense is Pending, Paid, or Approved.

Action – Options to View Details or Delete the expense record.

Filter Options – Easily filter expense records by Expense Date or Category to focus on specific transactions within a chosen timeframe or cost area.

📝Note: All expense entries automatically update your general ledger, ensuring consistent bookkeeping and accurate financial reporting across your organization.
🧾Create expense & payment record: The Create page enables users to record new financial outflows and associate them with the correct accounts and payees. It supports both single and multiple expense entries within one record, ensuring flexibility in expense management.

Available Fields :

Payee For – Select whether the payment is made to an Employee or Client.

From Account – Choose the source account used for the payment (e.g., Bank, Cash).

Attachment – Upload receipts, invoices, or related supporting documents.

Expense Date – Specify when the expense was incurred.

Category – Choose the expense classification (e.g., Travel, Marketing, Supplies).

Payment Method – Indicate the method of payment (e.g., Cash, Bank Transfer, Cheque).

Summary – Add detailed expense line items including:

Title – Description of the expense item.

Amount – Value of the individual entry.

Description – Additional details or notes for clarity

You can also add multiple entries under one expense record for grouped payments and click Save to record the transaction or Cancel to discard changes.
